I am excited to announce a new book in which I am one of the authors. The book is titled Protest Music in Latin America: Politics, Faith and Social Justice and has been published by Routledge. It analyzes the Biblical and Christian roots of several songs of protest music in Latin America primarily in the 1960s through the 1980s. This was a team effort of Latin American and music scholars led by Professor Nestor Quiroa and included Wilfredo Canales, Marcell Silva Steuernagel and yours truly. Enjoy!
